umm funny coinsidence? (sorry spelling bad due to cat in lap.)

So after finding out the code name for ffxiv was "project rapture" I just had to laugh. I think this may have "doomed" the game from the get go.

Now again i'm jusr being silly so don't flame me for saying the above.

It was lead by a man with a clear view. A mmo to break the normal mmo rules. Like a system where players had the ability to switch classes on the fly, as to just change their weapon. The ability to create a class using various skills you learned. This man had a clear vision which soon riddled with a draw back. Players over did it and no longer felt special. The man no longer could control the masses and (forceable) steped down. A new rise of power with in the mmo, a person who knew what was needed. A clear focus and control. He knew how to talk to the masses. And sweeten them up.


This sequance of events also sound like bioshock. Almost to a tee. :)

You know, I doubt Tanaka had a clear view. I think he was high the entire time.

Rapture much like ffxiv was to break all rules. The citizens were allowed to rewite their own dna to do different things soo the populous revolted against each other. No one felt special, the creature of rapture soon the step down in away, (forceable) and a new power lead the group. A woman who knew how to talk to people and sweeten them up. She knew what repture really needed.

moral of this.... never name anything rapture or events will be to similar.

his ckear view was to break all current mmo rules.. which dud him in at the end much like andrew ryan in bioshock. :)

better idea

1 ffxiv was a rule less game, since there was no defined rules ppl did w/e.
2 Andew ryan created a lawless city which again since there was no defined laws ppl did w/e they wanted.
