Most OPTIMAL BLM AoE rotation in 4.01?

Anyone have a good flow chart or rotation for what's the best AoE rotation for BLM? Is it better to go into Blizzard for Umbral Hearts first for five Fire II's or is the old rotation still better because you have quicker access for Flare?

For Single Target.

Don't use Umbral Heart.
Foul only in Umbrace Ice.
Spam Fire with FS procs on high movement mechanics. (You can TC proc cut into this, and foul cut into this.).
Use regular 2x Fire IV, Fire, 2x Fire IV on low movement mechanics. (You can TC proc cut into this once, but don't foul in Astra Fire).

Only on opener or re-opener should you omit cutting your "Triplecast 3x Fire IV, Sharp Fire, 3x Fire IV, FS proc Convert, 2x Fire IV" with TC proc until ice mode (umbral ice), as you should focus to get your burst out.

From what I hear very little different with Fire spam (w/ Firestarter (FS) from the Fire IV usage. Due to reduced Fire IV potency and movement.

You know the question was for AoE rotations, right? your rotation is very clearly for Single-Target.

Personally, my rotation is B3 > T4 > B4 > F3 > Flare > Foul > Flare > Transpose > repeat, skipping the initial B3. I tend to use TC procs ASAP.

How do you Flare twice in this situation, doesn't it consume all your MP?

Your trait at 68 lets you consume all 3 Umbral Hearts at once to reduce Flares cost to 66% of your MP. This lets you cast a second flare since you'll have enough spare MP to do so.

Trust me, being able to cast Flare twice in a row is so fun and flashy that you'd never want to use Fire 2 again. :)
