"Summon Bahamut" misses. No Bahamut, ability on cooldown.

Steps:
First time:
1. Garuda-Egi, glamoured as Emerald Carbuncle, suffers Apitoxin from Erle.
2. Emerald Carbuncle dies from DoT tick right around when I click Summon Bahamut.
3. I see "Summon Bahamut Dodge" on the screen, and the log says "You use Summon Bahamut", "The attack misses you.
5. No bahamut appears, summon bahamut ability is placed on cooldown, and Dreadwyrm Aether stacks are used up. Merys Carver is very sad.

I was able to reproduce a second time:
1. Gain two stacks of dreadwyrm aether.
2. Have Emerald Carbuncle attack Kaluk on obey.
3. Wait until carbuncle dies.
4. Right after carbuncle dies, activate Summon Bahamut.
5. Same symptoms: no bahamut, but stacks and ability are used, and PC is sad.

The kaluk hits Emerald Carbuncle for 1986 damage.
Emerald Carbuncle begins casting Wind Blade.
Emerald Carbuncle casts Wind Blade.
 Direct hit! The kaluk takes 2117 damage.
The kaluk hits Emerald Carbuncle for 2044 damage.
Emerald Carbuncle begins casting Wind Blade.
Emerald Carbuncle's Wind Blade is interrupted. <egi dies here>
You use Summon Bahamut.
 The attack misses you.
