Suggestion : New DoL/DoH Gameplay

Suggestion : New quest/leve ideas for DoH/DoL. Reconstructing Eorzea.

The Moogle best tribe quests got me thinking about something. There are many areas in Eorzea and elsewhere that are ruined thanks to the Calamity and the continued actions of the Garlean Empire. The Moogle quests are aimed towards helping the Moogles learn to rebuild the great monuments of the Churning Mists. It's a very nice, positive goal IMHO.

I think that this idea of rebuilding is something that could be put to great use in other areas with a new tier of Levequests aimed at DoH/DoL jobs, where the WoL can help with the rebuilding of our world.

Since I wish to stay away from spoilers in this I won't mention specific zones beyond the Moogles in The Churning Mists, nor how the Moogle quests develop as you play. That's something for everyone to find on their own.

However, the idea that we could be putting our gathering and crafting expertise to good use in rebuilding Eorzea seems to me to be a very positive story line that could well be incorporated during the post expansion patch series.

It would make playing DoH and DoL way more enjoyable for me. Leves or quests like that would add more context and purpose to these classes and provide a novel experience from time to time.

Grinding nodes is a boring slog in my opinion, just as sluggish as the padding side-quest run here touch Y, talk X, or killing the same type of enemy 1000 times with no moving to different camps.

I enjoy the story lines that have the Warrior of Light doing anything other than combat. The Starlight event helping out the children in Ul'dah for example, was an example for me of the WoL doing something that touches lives without the usual combat music and clashing of weapons. Something similar about the idea of helping the Moogles rebuild things. Having seen some of the war torn areas in the game whether it be ARR, HW or SB areas, it seems to me that there are opportunities to tell some stories and involve our character in some level of rebuilding.
