Shatter balance is ruined, Frontline is no longer 'fun'.
I never thought I'd say this, but this EXP surge has ruined any and all semblance of balance in Shatter. No longer is the meta to win - but rather to rig the match so that your team never wins by ensuring another team never wins.
The last 3 matches for me have been the same:
-Maelstrom has at least 2 premade alliances
-Maelstrom sends all their forces towards Adder base
-Maelstrom invades our base.
-Maelstrom sits in our base forcing us to deal with them or we lose.
-But maelstrom don't care, it means that Flames win quicker, and that means more EXP.
This is disgusting, it accounts to little more than forfeiting to ensure that the match ends quicker, akin to Achievement trading, Win Trading for achievements, etc. In short the game's PVP balance for frontlines is gone due to the focus of "End the matches quickly for EXP".
