Evening Guys
I was wondering if you can help I recently have got Fisher to Lvl 60 and I am trying to get Thunderbolt Eels Collectables and need some help
What is the correct rotation and stats needed to ge the required collectablity for counterfoils I currently have 651gp 450 gathering and 379 Perception. When I tried the other day highest i got was 500 for Eels
Any help would be appreciated
Were they HQ eels?
No they were mooched from Blue claw shrimps if memopry serves me right, I used pateince 1 and Power Hookset as well just trying to find out if what i am doing is right or if I am missing something :-)

As long as you fish them on the correct time you can either catch them directly with bladed steel jig, brute leech or from shrimp mooch as you say. However, collectability is 834+ for counterfoils so you might need to gear up a bit more to reach that...
Your rotation should usually be Patience->Powerful Hookset and if you dont catch smth in that duration then pop up a cordial and then repeat. You could use Patience 2->Powerful Hookset as it increases the size of the fish you catch, therefore collectability, and if you catch an hq eel then maybe you might reach 813.
Also, if memory serves, eels have medium bite (same with pipira pira) but with longer waiting time so you can just ignore the others. More info here -> http://ff14angler.com/fish/428
