Playstation Plus: do I need it to play FF XIV on PS4?

Hi everybody! Nice to meet you! :D

First of all I'm sorry if this isn't the right section of the forum for this topic...my apologies...

Actually I'm playing FF XIV on PS3, and I have a doubt...I heard that with next expansion PS3 won't be supported anymore as a console to play this game.
So I decided to transfer my datas on a PS4, but before buying it I'd like to know if a subscription to Playstation Plus will be needed to play FF XIV on a PS4...
I don't have found any info on the web about this question...

Negatory, PS+ is not required for FFXIV. Same applies to certain other multiplayer games such as Blacklight Retribution, Warframe, and Neverwinter.

No do not need PS+ to play XIV.
