Poorly Planned

Organization for crowd control was so poorly planned. Fours after the merchandise area was opened, they announced that the merch line was capped and very possible that the merch area would be unavailable for the rest of the day. For a two day event and denying hundreds of people from being able to get to this tiny area of merch is completely unacceptable. SE should somehow reimburse those who they pretty much screwed over if they are unable to accommodate the rest of the attendees for the last day.

Seriously four hours after merch opened, closing it off for the rest of the day? I definitely was not the only person pissed off about it and SE better get their shit together for the last day.

Yeah, no kidding. While I understand the need to "tap out" for a break, to completely shut down for the day is unacceptable. They knew full well what would happen and yet S-E had their system set up helterskelter and cut people off that had been standing there for literal hours. I heard the cash registers failed last Fanfest and now we have this debacle now.

I was one of the first few to be kicked out after the initial cutoff point at 1 pm. They weren't telling anyone outside of earshot of that area that the line was capped and we had to disperse. I called them on this, several times, as then we were under the impression they'd add people slowly and we didn't want to get cut off again. It was over an hour before I finally saw them make an ATTEMPT to go through the rest of the line.

Also got told that until they reopened, by one of the people higher up in charge, no less, that no one could create a pseudo line. Well, there is one now they're allowing all of sudden. Not at all happy.

Was just told by a staff member it was going again. I'm at the very end, but I want my lore book! Hope to God its fixed to some degree.

I am very unhappy about thee merchandise line planning. The coordination between the hotel staff and the event staff was terrible. I lined up several times only to be told that I couldn't or that the info I got was wrong. I am so upset that I did not get the Las vegas con shirt, you know, the one I went to and had fun at and wanted some memorabilia for. That whole experience left me REALLY bummed.

Order it online. You can get the I beat the primal shirts online as tacky as it is.

They said they would not be available online as they are made elsewhere and not in the US. I am hoping that they might have overstock on the website but from what they said... They won't.

Are you referring to the lore book? They made a point to mention, during a few of the panels, that books are going on sale on the online store this Monday.

Unfortunately there's a high probability of it being sold out on the website very quickly and the shipping fees outside of the US tend to be insane.

It's almost the same as 2014 Fan Fest. However, this time there a much more people at the event. I was hoping that they would have enough merchandises for everyone, but that was not the case. Part of the problem was many people bought more than one of the same items. I saw one person with 5x Lore books...

I got the ticket for Saturday @ 5PM but by then everything that I wanted are sold out. All the shirt sizes that I wanted are gone...

There's an information from one of the staff saying that tomorrow (10/17/2016) Lore book and Odin figure will be on sale/pre-order.

It would be great if the next Fan Fest let you put an order online and just pick up the merchandises at the event. That way we will have more time to enjoy the actual events and not waiting in line for hours. The good thing that they've done this time was the badge picking up processes.
