Duty Roulettes

I was talking with a friend about esoterics tomestones and the duty roulette bonuses. Mostly how people keep hoping they get research center for lvl60 roulette because it's the most eso for your time. Especially with the only way to get Umbrite right now is with esos.

I've seen people drop right after the gate lowers (or the sneaky dc that never comes back, hoping for a kick so they can insta re-queue) once we see it's Neverreap or one of the other lower level dungeons in the 60 level. I totally get why the eso/lore amounts differ between the dungeons (150/10 for research center, 30/10 for Neverreap and Fractal Continuum, 60/20 for Arboretum and Pharos Hard, 100/30 for Lost City and Antitower) is because of the ilvl and difficulty of each. Cool. Right on. If you want to spam a dungeon for eso, you get to pick how you grind away your time.

What I don't understand is why the Daily Roulette bonus doesn't equal out the eso and lore. If I get Neverreap instead of Lost City...I feel like the eso/lore bonus from the roulette should make up the difference in addition to the initial amount the roulette offers for completion. I mean that's how the low level works with exp points.

To be honest, it is kinda annoying to get a 130 eso Neverreap instead of a 250 eso Research Center or 200 eso Lost City. We don't get to pick the dungeon for lvl60 roulette for a reason and I'm down with that...just asking if we could make the time invested/rewards equal.

I have to agree. As a blm, I don't need another reason to hate Neverreap. Those pathetic 30 esos and 10 lore can never make up for all the tears that dungeon caused.

With that said though, I would never leave right at the beginning just because I don't like what the roulette gives me, but I'll still be disappointed the entire way through those dungeons.

But your idea isn't bad either...

For the daily roulette it would be nice. The other roulettes also suffer the same problems. 50 roulette Wanderers palace normal offers something like 12 poetics where keeper of the lake throws out 100.

Then trials has such a varied level of rewards. From 10 poetics if you get I frit. To a chunk of eso and lore if you get Nidd.

So it would be nice if they were normalised. One way could simply be removing the tomes for the normal clear and just increasing the roulette bonus when using daIly roulette for the first time

The roulettes are here to make players logon everyday, they should increase the reward so no one want to miss a daily roulette^^;

the problem is this punishes people who genuinely DC

research center is a story dungeon and the high Eso mark is because of this. I personally think they should of added it to the 8 man main scenario roulette, also think they should knock main scenario roulette off and turn the two into 4-man dungeons.

As for older dungeons I would have to agree, anything that is pre-expansion should see rewards level out and be the same, make lv 50 dungeons give 100 poetics each. All that content is old and do very little at this current time.

I would dissagree with make the main scenerio into a 8 man but aetherial should of been a 8 man dungeon i agree with that plus it would of been more revelant and we should get more stuff for old content that pops on df randomly
