Drk and 3.26
Hi all !
Do you think the futur upgrade of 3.26 will balance the drk in PvP ? I hope but i'm not really sure... Drk really need a little boost on his burst... not a big one , i dont ask same burst than warrior but atm it's really hard to keep pressure on healer or caster's...
Anyway... i think damages of drk's are not necessary bad ...

But when you see how many warriors can kill healers... i'm not sure than the 3.26 will really change the life of dark knights x)

"But when you see how many warriors can kill healers..." you mean ZERO? Cuz that's what your pic shows... a warrior with zero kills and a DK with 2 and about 50k more damage. So I don't see how that supports ur point... or am I missing something?

My screenshot just want to say... drk dont need really more damage , he just need a good burst... Warrior's burst are 2x/3x more powerfull... This warrior was just bad and i think i'm not bad on my drk...
But a good healer can easily ignore one drk on him... he cant ignore a good warrior or a good pld...
And i dont think 3.26 will really change something for drk's... but we will see...

Should probably blur the names out on that screenshot. Cause for an 8 minute match they all had very low dps. Especially that DRG omg.

The patch isn't going to do crap for us. The carnal chill change is nice, gives us the ability to save our healers and junk, but the tar pit change is ridiculous. As a DRK, I rarely ever get focused unless I boneheadedly get 9 stacks. They need to drop the cooldown of C&S by like 20 seconds in PvP only, maybe add a short heavy affect to plunge. We don't have the burst to be truly scary unless the healer is bad, and our defensive abilities will never be on par with cover and spirits within/on demand PLD stuns.

So... DRK stay useless in PvP x) , u deal damage when you are good but... that's all... Drk can reduce a bit the pressure of course with his pvp skills but pld stay a better choice for that...
In PvP , you need controls or/and burst , drk have nothing about that'... so...
I hope SE have a regard about that cuz it's frustrating to play good his drk for nothing...

I end up doing about the same overtime as a warrior based on the situation(did i get to actually dps someone or did i sit in cc the whole match). What i find we fall short at is having a role to play. Warrior is great at burst focusing people or splitting damage to distract healers. Paladin kicks ass at saving would be focus targets and keeping mage from free casting. We can do some damage but burst isn't as high as a warriors output , and we aren't as sturdy as a Paladin. Overall i don't want to be made like either i want my own role to play besides "great we got a drk -.-". lol
This said i don't think drk is unplayable as it is. I still enjoy it ,and do my best to see my team win. More balance would be nice ,but i would hate to see a bland experience where everything is so nerfed and balanced that it all plays the same.

Personally , Drk is my favourite tank but i'm resolved to play only my warrior/drg and pld if i want to push in ranked... However , i think i'm a really good drk but it's just useless to play this job atm in pvp...
All healers ignore you , same for caster's damage dealer... i always do games around 120/170K dmg on my drk but this damage are useless cuz i can't do pressure on my opponents , so...
Please SE give to drk a real burst or something really usefull in PvP...

DRK isn't TERRIBLE, but I think it's pretty clear SE has no idea what it's doing with us for PvP. We're a cruddy middle ground between the other two tanks, but SE doesn't seem to realize that that doesn't work -- you need to be on one end of the spectrum to be truly viable in PvP. I've mentioned it before but carnal chill is the only thing we truly have going for us now -- it's potentially better than cover in the right situations.
But that's not enough. They need to up our burst more. Add some potency to C&S or reduce the CD. Make us on par with the other two. We're not asking to be overpowered, just not to be a burden to our team.
