[FFXIV - Quidditch]

An idea to pass the time.


First we need 16 players with halloween broom. 8 on each team. 5 officials to keep rules in check. And 1 lalafell on an Ahriman.

One team dye their gear blue, and one red. (Or team color)

Team must consist of:
1Paladin - Seeker

Each area is a different arena.

How to play:

1. Lalafell golden snitch - will have 5 minute to hide from the players.
   
2. Players start at the opposite end of the maps.
   
3. 2 offcials will be with each team to assure no one move until the Golden Snitch is ready!
   
4. 1 will remain with the Golden Snitch at all times.
   
5. All members of the team except for the paladin must remain in a group at all times.
   
6. Once the snitch is found, only the paladin can capture it.
   
7. The snitch can be capture by openning up a trade window with the Golden Snitch. Trade window must be open for 4 seconds, as the Golden snitch tries to get out of range.
   
8. Once the snitch is “caught” the Golden snitch will group with the Paladin Seeker.
   
9. To complete the process of the capture, your team’s paladin must use cover for the full duration without getting out of range while the Snitch tries to escape.
   
10. The team who catch the Golden Snitch first wins!

[I had this thought for mini-games with player made content as I was flying on my broom.]

This is funny but shouldn't the seeker be a ninja?

Well I chose paladin, because of the visible effect of cover. If the tether disappear everyone will see.

But you need to be in a party to cover, so both paladins would need to be in a party with the lala and then they would see them in map mode right?

#7-#9 states that when the Golden snitch has been found a trade window must be kept open for a certain amount of time. The lala is part of the officiating staff. And there's always one official with the lala.

yes but it said to use cover afterwards.
