Sargatanas Community
Hello, I am currently a member of the Behemoth server and was recently invited to a static here on Sargatanas.
But my biggest concern is, "what if things don't work out?" If I dropped everything that I have on my home server and things don't work out for me with the static that I join, what else does the server Sargatanas have to offer? My biggest focuses are raid content, crafting, and housing. While I am a serious endgame player, I need a healthy and enjoyable community to play in. With so many of my friends mia or transferred around, I've been in a sort of rut that has directly affected my performance. I really need both!
So does Sargatanas have the community that I'm looking for? I'd appreciate talking with someone who has a firm grasp of things here (Happy to make an alt to check things out first hand ^^)
Thanks!

Hello!
I've been a Sargatanas member from the start, and I think it's a lovely server! Personally, I have only run into friendly and helpful players, and there seems to be an abundance of pleasant FCs. I craft and gather a lot myself, and think the market is pretty healthy - I've never had a problem selling anything, and can make money quickly. Housing is, of course, full, but you can find people selling from time to time.
I have, however, noticed a dip in activity in recent months. The server used to be locked and full frequently, whereas now, it's always open for new characters. I check the PF frequently when I'm online, and rarely notice more than 5-8 PFs up at once. But they cover a wide range of activities - pony farming, Diadem, hunts, etc. So there's something for everyone!
Hope that helps a little, and good luck!

Sounds like a fun time. Might pay a visit.

create an alt (which you have) check out PF at all the different times and see what's up. there's always statics looking fro people and people looking for statics.
Shame, the same thing has happned to me, friends are MIA and some transfered away, I've not beein finding the fun I've been looking for on sarg for a long time so I can;t speak highly of its community. Learning Ravana Extreme via PF pug groups for me was beyond rough for me on sarg. so much so that i can;t handle the end game there any more.
Sarg does have a quirky sense of humour, you just have to start a random shout conversaion for that.
But for me at least while I'm keeping an alt on sarg to re level with friends my end game main is retiring off server.

I transferred to Sarg from Famfrit. Being a Legacy server, there are many established FCs that will give you something to do outside of raid. Crafting. helping. etc. The profit won't be as much on crafted items as non-legacy servers for obvious reasons but you can still make some great money on this server if you gather and craft.
As for FCs: While there are a few who went for server/world progression on Savage, I have found that there WERE a lot of raiders. Since Diadem and A3S breaking statics, a lot of raiders quit trying. You will see recruitment threads or someone looking for a static all the time. Whether that is successful is another story. Had to rep almost every week for 4 months. It's really discouraging. Mostly the PF has been Thordan farm/clear groups lately. You can find all sorts of players joining PF and not just people who are looking for carries. Although I wouldn't recommend joining Thordan unless you know what you are doing and making sure its a farm group to find a few of the better players. Not for long though as most of us have farmed the living hell out of it.
Overall, its not a bad server. The problem right now is the content. You can only do Diadem/Thordan/Alex Savage so much until you go nuts. You can only craft so much before you burn out, run out of mats, or flood the market (which isnt hard on Sarg. The undercut is real!).

Up till now the max time I had to wait in DF is 5-6 mins, as a DPS that is.
Sarg is a great server, I think most people are done with MOST content though.

I actually transferred from Behemoth to Sarg and I've found it quite enjoyable here.
That's just my experience, I found an awesome group :D.

It's a fairly balanced server with a bit of everything, but not too much of anything going on.
Community wise, my experience has been good: for example, my FC and I offer a support service to newbies on weekends, to help them through old content; generally, when we need more than 4 people to clear content, we end up with many random players we don't know volunteering just to help - not for the clear. So there is an altruistic element to this server that I haven't seen elsewhere.
That said, it's a fairly quiet server so if you want something to happen, you'd best start it yourself and wait for it to catch on.

I have been on 4 servers, including Behemoth, and thus far Sargatanas is the best of the 4 community wise. There is something here for everyone and the overall vibe of this server is very good. Mostly everyone is positive and fun, no one takes themselves too seriously.

Like others here I had friends leave and my static breakdown. I had been looking to make a server jump after the new year. Hearing what I have so far about Sarg makes me pretty pumped about making the change.
Hope to see you about in 2016!
