I can't receive Items or Money

Time: Roughly 3:10pm CEST

Area and coordinates: The Goblet, FC House

Steps:
-Didn't get the botany weapon from my lvl 10 job quest
-Bought this weapon, lost the money but didnt get the weapon
-Friend traded me this weapon, didn't get it
-Sold a lot of shards, didn't get the money
-Bought something cheap on the mb i already have to check the amount, nothing happened. Lost the money, didn't get the items.


Couldn't find anything when i googled. Please help.

Check that the items aren't in your armoury chest.

if you sell things on the market board, the money goes to your retainer that you sold it from, not directly into your own funds. Go check your retainers and see if the gil is there.

ya the gil is there, thanks. but that doesnt solve my item problem. i checked everything, i can't receive items.

If you completed a quest, accepted a trade, or bought something from the MB, the items went somewhere. The only way you can't receive an item is if your inventory is full, and if that's the case, in all of the mentioned scenarios, the game will block the transaction from proceeding and give you an error message stating that your inventory is full.

If you can remember the items you are looking for, try finding the item somewhere, doesn't have to be in your inventory, can be in a shop window or the MB. Right-click on the item, and click "Search for Item". If you possess the item at all, whether it be in your own inventory, the armory chest, or your retainers inventory, it will pop up a message telling you where that item is.

The level 10 quest item for botany is actually the secondary item (scythe) not the main hand.

Check to see if it is showing where items like shields and other secondary items go. It's right hand side on your character screen, at the top.

Hopefully they're there.

Good to hear :) I'm levelling my botanist at the moment too, so I understand the confusion. We just automatically expect main hand from quests ^^
