New strategies for 2.xx trials?

I'm going into Leviathan hard mode soon, and I have Ifrit and Garuda under my belt for hard modes. I of course watch the videos first, but when I do them, the basic strategy I'm told is to " Just beat 'em till its dead". So my question is, what are the updated strategies for 2.0 - 2.55 trial content? Is it all just tank and spank now?

Most of the trials are Tank and spank.
Mog - still need to kill the kids before the boss.
Levi - someone still have to operation the force field switch
Garuda - OT now just has holds adds while Garuda is burned before phase II is finished.
Ramuh - Still need to break tethers with orbs; and free people affected by terror with lightning
Ultros - still need to do the mechanics.

Ifrit, Titan, Greg, Greg II, and Shiva - are just tank and spank, burn adds as they appear.

And watch you don't push phase change too soon.

In some of these fights you can insta wipe the group if you push the boss over dmg threshold before you're ready. IE: In Ramuh EX, if the MT is outputting enough dmg to push him below threshold before the Dps have finished burning the adds, he'll just insta cast judgment bolt and murder everyone. A lot of the Trials have this little hitch, but they're usually a one time wipe deal. Once you've seen it and know what % you have to be careful around you just stop dps'ing until it's safe than finish the burn.
