What's the best ratio stat/eso for healer ? And others questions.

I'm a bit new on the forum and I'm looking for help.
I don't know how really work stat and it's bugging me.
I know that weapon damage is a huge stat and that everyone should take the weapon first.
But I want to understand.
I don't see thread like How to dragoon per second for whm so I'm a bit lost. :confused:

+2WD, +9 vita-mind, +70 piety and 92 critical hit rate and -80deter and -58 spell speed is worth 990 eso ?
How much stat gain do we have ?
How much +2 Wd is in mind ?

How much stronger my heal will be ?

I wanted to dps with my Whm but my accuracy sucks... Does critical hit a bad stat ?
And I don't like rng so in my mind Deter>Crit.

I would say that WD>Mind>piety>spell>deter>crit.

Personally i priorities mind over everything else. More mind = stronger heals.

To give a short, rough answer.
With our current gear, 1WD should give you roughly 100 more healing on Cure I from my experience.
The -80 Det will of course make it look less in this case, but you also get 9 mind to make up for that.

So WD > MND > Prefered Seconday Stat (Usually PIE and SS for WHM, but there is different playstyles out there)

Sodamachine basically covered it... I'm not sure what the exact weights are with the Heavensward stat nerfs, but generally, 1 WD is worth 7~9 MND which is worth a ton of det. So Sodamachine's stat priorities (WD, main stat, then offstat of choice) are generally the way to go.

Crit is really worth it on some classes as they get extra bonuses. On SCHs, a crit also doubles their shields (in addition to being stronger because it's a crit). BRD gets extra procs for crit hits. Stuff like that.

Det gives you a small boost but it's consistent/no RNG. SS just makes heals go out faster and now strengthens HoTs a bit.

Not going to get into which offstat is best but I'll say that for WHM, any of them are viable depending on your play style.

I haven't been over to the bluegartr forums recently but that's where I'd look for the hard TC data.

You can honestly ignore secondary stat... My whm has 765 Crit atm, and i dont really notice a difference, compared to 500~.

SE changed the scaling of secondaries, so they are equally worthless now, and even on melees, Det scales as 0.13~ (instead or 0.33 pre-heavensward) per Main stat.

tl;dr: Ignore secondary stat. They scale SO bad right now, that you can just blindly go for higher item level.
More WD + MND = stronger heals. End of Story. Losing 80 Det? You wont notice them. Probably 3-4 mind are already enough to counter that. Or 1 Weapon damage is also worth more than 80-100 det.

All this is correct. I don't think anyone has really figured out the skill speed on HOTS/dots yet and how well the scaling is working for us. But with very few gear options right now you just want the best weapon which is Eso weapon unless your static is downing A4S (which almost no one is doing). Regardless the Law weapon or the upgraded Law weapon is not going to beat out the Eso Weapon on almost any job and especially for WHM.

This post was done to compare swapping from hive to AF2 weapon and keep hive and swap chest+hat from i190 to i200. Weapon is crap, get pants then hat/gloves, then wtv you want. Getting the weapon is more idiotic now since we're getting relic weapons in a month and a half.

Hi!

You won't notice the impact of secondary stats as much as you would for a DPS class. Heaing is all about the Mind :)

For SCH the priority is mind>crit>det = piety>ss. I only say DET and Pie are equal as it may vary depending on the fight. For example, if you are having mana issues you may want to prioritize piety over SS and Det, but if you're find managing your mana then you can just ignore piety. It all depends on where you are and your group comp.

For WHM the priority is once agian mind but secondary stats are a bit of a mix depending on who you ask. I prefer piety>det>ss>crit.

For AST I'd argue it is similiar to SCH but in mind>piety>crit>det>ss order. I think that way you get the best gear for either dirunal or nocturnal
