Can we hope for personal airships?

I know the one in ishgard is coming, but any chance that there'll be a (perhaps more limited, 1?) personal airship for individual players? The kind that does the venture thingy. Perhaps a bit selfish, but one can hope..

Well, have you finished the main scenario quest yet?

As Canadane said, just keep at the expansion storyline - you'll get your wish soon enough. ;)

I don't see much reason to NOT give airships to people that own personal housing, but most likely the island exploration stuff will require more than one player anyhow. I own a small FC that currently only has 3 active users. I've gathered & crafted 2 airships now on my own. Only took about half a Saturday each time, so not too bad really, you just need 3 warm bodies teamed with you for the actual crafting.

The airship fuel canisters however are only purchasable with FC credits, but it's a fairly trivial amount at first. I imagine once you have 4 airships it can start to be a noticeable amount though.

Personal houses are at the heart of the housing issue itself. I doubt SE is looking to give individual home owners much of anything while they are possibly rethinking the current system.

If they keep personal housing on par with FC housing they are mad and just painting themselves further and further into a corner.

Giving personal houses something like that would spike the demand greatly, and there's not enough supply as it is.

Yeah, once you get the ships upgraded they can go further; it goes from needing 2-3 tanks per trip to like 12+.

You could always dress one of your retainers like a ship? XD
