Patch 1.19 wont download

For nearly 19hrs now,i've been trying to update to 1.19 via the game's patcher-have managed a 16% download in total so far.I have turned off my virus scanner and firewall.I get perhaps 1 or 2 remore connections and a download speed of around 10kb ( i'm in the uk by the way ),but after approx. 3-5mins a total loss to 0kb .In settings, My UPnP is tuned ON, not Auto. Patch 1.18 was not as slow to d/l,but never cut me off like this.I have no way of torrenting as my ISP wont let me use any of the programs-it blocks them.So, is there anyone in UK with same problem,are we region specific in who is being allowed server access? Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer,although maybe its just congestion?

If you only getting 1 or 2 remote connections you have your ports block. Release the proper ports to allow the game to connect and transport properly!!!

And um...the update is pretty MASSIVE in file size...compared to previous.

Please make sure the following ports are open: TCP/UDP 55296-55551, UDP 443, and UDP 80

Should solve most of your downloading problems.

Sadly, this did not solve my download problems... he's not even obtaining remote connections... and all he does is upload instead of downloading the actual patch...

Sounds like an ISP problem...FYI a lot of auto-patching for MMOs use some form of torrenting these days. You might call up your ISP and see if they can white list FFXIV related downloads.
