Unsure about 60-onward PLD

So, I'm having a hard time quite getting the post-60 feel of PLD, compared to how I played post-50. I feel like my hits are weak, and kind of unsure when I should be using powers, mainly Divine Veil and Clemency.

I feel like I am compelled to be in Sword Oath most of the time. Maybe I always should have been, but with a decent DoT and Royal Authority, I just see the benefit more. Is Clemency just a way for PLD to help with a quick heal when off-tanking? If so, its almost useless. A good pair of Healers should be more then we need.

I've also had a problem with popping Veil to prep for a big hit, but then the heal doesn't come in to trigger its shield for everyone. I could macro it, but what should the macro say?


Last question: Should you bother with anything beyond Scorn, Flash, and rotating Rage combo on dungeon trash? And even if you should, DO you? I find once the DPS are on two targets, and the healer is poking a third, holding 5 mobs takes concentration, so I can't swap to Sword and apply DoTs.

Clemency gets used in rare situations if you're MTing because of interrupts. Divine Veil you may want to macro and pop it for the big mechanic hits (example: before ravana does bloody fuller). If you're MTing try to keep Goring Blade DOT running and the Strength Debuff from Halone up. Then just go into Royal Authority, while keeping Circle and Spirits on cool down. Stance dance when you feel able.
