So, right now me and the static Im in are at Savage Alex 1. We seem to have problems with DPSing Faust to the ground, since Im Summoner I wanna do the best DPS as possible, yet I still wonder what would be the best rotation or how to start with it. I tried a few different ways but still Im unsure. Any Tips/Help appreciatet. Thanks
My current opener is like this:
Garuda:
Bio II -> Miasma -> Bio -> Swiftcast + Fester > Shadowflare -> Rouse/Spur > Ruin II > Ruin II > Raging Strikes + PainFlare -> Ruin II -> X-Pot + Fester / DWT -> Ruin II -> Tri - Disaster + Enkindle -> Ruin II -> Aetherflow +Contagion -> Ruin III -> Ruin III -> Ruin II -> Fester -> Deathflare -> Ruin II -> Shadowflare ->....
After that, the rest is upkeep, and holding onto your last Aetherflow stack to bait out the Aetherail timer, then when Aetherflow comes back off cd,
DWT -> Fester + Tri -D -> Ruin III spam -> Ruin II -> Fester + Contagion -> Deathflare and continue upkeep until dead.
At 183 that usually sits me around 1250 on average (Faust DPS alone), which I think is pretty decent.
Try to get a shadowflare down right in front of the mob before your tank pulls for a few extra points of damage.

On the boss itself I'll usually keep dots full time on one and then use my DWT-TD-Contagion on the other one every minute. SMN is really strong on both A1 and A2.
Priorities for a Summoner are always changing based on the situation. Many ways to amplify dps and it's key to analyze the goals. Mobs vs. single target is usually the start and that is how you begin the rotation. A lot of people use many other skills during Dreadwyrm Trance, but lose out on the buffed mp saving effects of Ruin III. Dots ALWAYS need to be up and knowing when to save a Tri-disaster followed by a bane is crucial. Mastering laying out a shadow flare in between all of this is key as well. The "slow" effects can come a long way for the rest of the party. Applying Miasma 2 when running in, or through also should be mastered. So much to a Summoner and practice makes perfect. Learning all kinds of situations and maximizing our abilities.
