Steps:
I was farming Mythrite Ore by flying between the three node locations in Gorgagne Holding in Coerthas Western Highlands. I had previously been farming ore for approximately one hour Earth time. I was already farming the first mineral deposit at [31,13] when an A rank hunt was called as having spawned. As I moved to the second deposit at that node, it was targetable but I was not able to enter the mining screen. This lasted for the duration of the A rank hunt and an additional 30 seconds or so. After that time period had ended, I was able to mine the node again. 30 minutes later, the other A rank hunt spawned in Coerthas Western Highlands. This time, I was not able to begin mining at either mineral deposit at [31,13]. Other nodes around that node were unaffected. Once the hunt was dead, I was able to mine at the node a short time later.
