I recently got a ping from your server,but when my firewall tracer followed the ping back to it's origin where it stopped in China where the trace lost the ping. I think someone in China is using your servers to obtain Account info from the clients directly using your server as a way to mask their IP address.
It might help if you are able and willing to give more information. There's a lot of very well informed users of the forum who may have an insight.
What was this address? May not have been SE pinging you. You could have picked up something malicious or left breadcrumbs behind from Facebook or something.
Also, what region are you from and let's see some trace data. It could be more a routing issue and not something malicious.
