Been doing some old EX primals with lvl 60 groups and wondering if the drop rate for ponies is lower if you dont have a full group or are we just having some bad luck? Anyone got any thoughts?

I don't think so. Did one 7-man Ifrit EX and the pony dropped.
There isn't a droprate change you have just been unlucky. Normally I see a drop every third or fourth run.
