Known Issue with PlayStation®4 Disc Copies of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward

We have confirmed an issue that PlayStation®4 disc copies of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward are unable to access Heavensward content under certain conditions despite having registered the promotion code and Mog Station showing it as activated.

If you believe that you are experiencing this issue, please close the game software and follow the steps below to update your FINAL FANTASY XIV launcher and re-download the game content.

■Steps to Re-download Heavensward Content

1. Close the game software if you are currently logged in
2. Launch "FINAL FANTASY XIV" from the PS4 home screen
3. Wait as the game launcher updates automatically
4. Log in to the game with your Square Enix account credentials
5. Wait as "FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward" re-downloads update files
6. Confirm that you can access Heavensward areas, or are able to create an Au Ra character

As an apology, we would like to offer compensation of one "phial of Fantasia" to players who were affected by this issue.

Players who meet all three requirements below and were unable to access Heavensward content up through Jun. 23, 2015 1:15 p.m. (PDT)

1. Did not participate in the Early Access period of Heavensward
2. Possess a PlayStation®4 entitlement to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn
3. Registered the product code for their PlayStation®4 disc copy of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward or PlayStation®4 disc copy of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online between Jun. 22, 2015 8:00 a.m. and Jun. 23, 2015 1:15 p.m. (PDT), and were unable to access Heavensward content
