A friend is thinking about switching from the PC to the Mac. Since the data isn't server side will it be possible to transfer settings from the PC to the Mac? I know you can transfer the settings from PC to PC. Any word on Mac to PC or moving settings server side?
I've not heard anything official about transferring files, but if they use the same file format (and there's a chance they do), it might be as easy as copying the existing ones from PC to a USB drive and then copying them to the Mac (or transferring over a network/other method of your choice)
Sorry, we just don't really know for sure yet as the Mac client isn't released.
