So at 30, when you unlock viper, is there any good reason to ever use wasp again?
(obviously outside of sub30 dungeon runs)
Or is it just outdated at that point?
Then, is there any good cross class skills I should get? I was running 2 skills, for increased crit and damage.. crit from archer straight shot and damage from war...dotn remember the skill name.

My Lancer isn't high lvl so I'm not sure if there anything Im missing from there.
Once you get Enhanced Wasp Venom, yes you'll want to switch back to Kiss of the Wasp for the increased damage. Once you have both of the abilities' passive traits, you just have to decide if you want a stun or a drain for the battle you are in.
Thank you for asking this question OP. As someone who's working towards Ninja as well, I've been curious about this.
You will rotate your poisons later on (at least you should) depending on the situation. For example, I use the bonus stun from one poison while fighting trash monsters, and switch to the + heal when fighting a boss (in most cases the stun would be useless).
Level up lancer. You will draw blood for blood, and invigorate from them at least. Blood for blood will be your damage boosting ability that will replace your archers previous skill.
Cross class you want inner release, blood for blood and invigorate, then the last two pick from second wind, feather foot, feint and the other one from lancer. As for the venoms there are times when using the stun is a no no, at least I get mad as a tank when the mob becomes immune, so switching between stances will become habit.
Actually, instead of a stun and a drain, I think you mean a stun and a silence. Drain is very meh, but the silence is invaluable to NIN, because it gives the party or raid an extra instant cast, off-GCD silence (i.e. use it on the Blue Golem's Earth Shock on T9). Both are good to use depending on the situation, but in FCoB, I would ideally use Viper for the small healing bonus from Mug's Drain effect, since there are no additional enemies that are susceptible to stuns or silences.
As for additional cross-class abilities, you should use: Blood For Blood, Second Wind, Internal Release, Invigorate and the 5th slot is entirely optional. Good choices are Keen Flurry (i.e. Alot of abilities in final coils are both magical AND/OR physical, so having it can mitigate a portion of the incoming damage), Mantra (i.e. Small raid-wide healing bonus, but your healers will indefinitely be happy for this), and Fleet-footed (i.e. This cross-class is pretty worthless, since Perfect Dodge is essentially this, but it is a 100% dodge versus +15% dodge chance for 15 seconds...). The cross class for the final slot that I use is Mantra, because healing is very tight on T13, so I help out the healers on some of the intense raid-wide mechanics like Mega Flare, Rage of Bahamut, or Giga Flare.
I only use wasp of venom if i have to stun. I do switch back and forth between some fights.
Kiss of Wasp does in fact do more damage. I agree with Santa about the cross class skills, very much the best ones to have.
