As things opened up as I hit 30, I got lost. Went around with a second character, then started crafting and well I am not sure who to find where I left off with the story quest line as I didn't pick up the last one..
Any way to find it?

If you check your journal do you see any quest with this symbol?

If you do that is the next main story quest needed to progress other than that do you remember the last thing you did for the story?
Go to your journal, on the 2nd tab check which quest you did last and then you will be able to find it on the lodestone here http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...t/?category2=1 and see what is next and which NPC you need to find :)
