Need major help with my GSM mastercraft book.

The name of the game is RNG, and I'm having a ****ton of the bad kind.

I'm using guide put forth by Havenchild in this topic:

Is there any easier method? My culinarian and armorer books went so much better than this, but GSM abilities don't leave me with the option of using those methods.

Edit: In case it makes helping me any easier, I have Supra, full melds, Artisan offhand/melded. 463 Crafts, 424 Control (10 FC buff), 395CP with food.

if you having trouble with the 4 star then try this guide i did today, how i got my 4 star books, usually go through 6 to 10 field 3 to get 1 book done with this method, the exception was my first book , i ran through 14 field 3 as i was still experimenting..

Of course RNG plays a big part but at least using my own method I did it cheaply and efficiently for all classes. Hope it helps, give me a shout if you need any advice.

Piece of advice? Ignore anything that incorporates any type of Waste Not into their rotation.

Best you can do is aim at using 2x Master Mend II's and 3 CZ's. You should be able to finish the books right now with just PbPx2 RSx2 CSIIx2. Aim at using every single good on ToT. Methods with Waste not fall short because using ToT with it up is basically throwing CP away, whereas MMII gives you the flexibility of taking any ToT you find.

I actually looked at your video using xaschx's rotation, but with GSM I (and I can't believe I did it) took out SH2 to get RS into my cross-class. It.... wasn't that bad actually... I had more trouble actually baiting good conditions than anything else - and for some odd reason goods were hard to come by for me for ToT.... Having native Innovation though did boost BB quite nicely. I'm still pretty annoyed how rare excellent actually popped on my attempts (only had ONE instance of that happening on BB). RECLAIM RECLAIM RECLAIM!!!
