Secret Quests and Items

It would be interesting if they added secret items and quests into the game that are not mentioned in the patch notes or anywhere else. All Final Fantasy games has secret items and quests and some have only been found years after the release like the FF 9 secret quest.


Also for those who watched SAO, a lot of their quests and rare items are for the player to be discovered, if ever discovered....

Square could make it that specific requirements trigger a secret quest which can lead to some cool rare items and gear and they could make it very hard to achieve.

I actually kind of like the idea of sneaking a couple secret questlines in here and there. Could be fun to stumble on.

On the other hand though, it probably wouldn't take long for word to get out about them. :(

Yes exactly what i think. And there'd be rumors of how there is this secret quests that might lead to some epic weapon and that NPCs around the world hint about the existance of this weapon etc... Players around the world would try to crack the secret.

They'd be fun little things... for about a week before everyone knows about them from sources like Reddit.
