curious

Is anyone else having a problem where everything that has a chance at NQ is NQ? 5 times today and 1x yesterday i've had 96% chance of HQ and got NQ. is RNGesus working in mysterious ways with me, or has this been happening to other people?

Edit: I wouldn't mention it, but it has been every time that I have had a chance at NQ that I got NQ

I feel your pain.

I've actually had the opposite. Got a HQ with only a 20% chance and then got one with a 15% chance.

Yesterday I had both happen to me.
I got an NQ with a 99% chance at HQ "I was peeved" and then later on I got a HQ with only 17 % chance and I had to laugh.

I've had a really good string of luck (knock on wood) with HQing 3 star cooking crafts. I've done 30 so far and got 30 HQ even with some as low as ~20%. Now I know I'll get the next 30 to be NQ even at 99%

Wanna hear about the day I wanted to craft 3 HQ vanya silks with a so-so melded weaver?
First silk: 90%, turned out HQ
Second silk: 96%, turned out NQ
Third silk: 98% NQ
I was so done. Of course this kinda "luck" never happens with melds. Only with NQ...

I tried to get my miner over melded for two star items... 15 tries later - all of them failed.

I gave up - couldn't believe I had failed so consistently... Not a single over meld. All of them were grade 3 - poof gone.

(Sigh....)

30 failures forbidden melding something that was at 11% chance and a short time later a diff forbidden meld took 34 tries. I feel the pain.

ugh... we all need to vent about this kinda stuff... it really really is frustrating

I always just think about some time I was especially lucky and it's easier to shrug off the bad luck. It's not necessarily much help if you're lucky when it doesn't matter and unlucky when it really counts though...
