Would it be possible to make glamours job-specific rather than on general equipment?

I couldn't think of a very good title for this, so hopefully I can explain succinctly.

The glamour prism system isn't so bad. It's not an ideal slot system, but I've adapted to it and have made money off it for sure.

The thing that is irritating about it is that for jobs that may use a lot of the same equipment, or even just pieces like WHM/SCH, BLM/SMN, WAR/PLD the glamour of one job affects the other.

For example, I had the Wolfseye set glamoured to my BLM. It's BLM only so I didn't see any of it on SMN, which is fine. But when I recently obtained the augmented Evoker stuff for glamour, glamouring it to SMN basically took off all of my BLM set. For people that play multiple classes, this is a little frustrating.

Again, I don't know how difficult it would be, and I don't want them to scrap the system and start over by any means, but I do want to be able to have different glamour sets for different jobs despite sharing a lot of the equipment. Hopefully that makes sense.

+1 I want to have different glamours for blm/smn and pld/war, myself.

I keep thinking this is how it should have been. With the glamours saved to class slots, maybe we could glamour "multi-sloted" equipment like cowls or the chocobo suit

I would also like titles saved to class slots, my BLM is not a "Meat Shield" no more than my WAR is an "Archmage".

Personally I'm fine with glamours being tied to pieces of gear, that is the point of the system. The over complicated prism system is ridiculous, but that it is tied to the gear and not to a class is perfect imo.

The titles argument just seems out there in left field though :/

If glamours can get tied to classes i would like titles to do the same, is what i was trying to expresss

You earn the titles as a characte, as a person. Not as a class or job. As example, you kill 1000 kobolds and get the title kobold killer (only as an example), then switch to a crafter class. Even as a crafter your character have still killed 1000 kobolds and is a kobold killer.

The reasoning behind tying it to a job rather than gear is due to jobs sharing armor, though. If, for example, you main blm and really love the blm specific AF and you glamour it over the Evenstar stuff, it's fine when you're on blm. But switch to summoner, and the blm glamour doesn't show up so it just looks like you're wearing Evenstar. If you could tie glamours to jobs you could have different outfits for each one.

Still feel it is asking too much when we can already glamour gear endlessly and how we want.
