Seeking Likeminded Gamers to Create a Safe and Progressive Company

For the longest time I have avoided mmo games for fear of the toxicity within their communities. I believe that people of all backgrounds ought to have a safe and welcoming space within FFXIV, but have struggled to find one already in existence.

In the interests of becoming the change I want to see in the world, I am putting out an open call to gamers of all denominations. To those who want to enjoy their free time and engage in mature conversation without fear of persecution for their race, class, gender, religion or sexual orientation by any of their comrades.

The organisation that I envisage will not be based on artificial hierarchies and I will not be its leader. I hope bring together progressive gamers who share the values I have outlined above and who are passionate about making things better for their comrades in game.

My current company is fine but I'd like to be a part of a more active one, especially the kind where I didn't have to worry about being judged for being a girl or having to see a ton of sexist slurs in the company chat. Not a free company, but there is the Forgotten Path linkshell (http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...2598695821816/), which is basically what you're looking for. It's pretty full at the moment, but there's still some alts in there which can be removed if needed. Since everyone in the shell is also in their FC's, it's not always very active, but there's usually stuff going on, and none of the people in the shell mind helping people or have some silly prejudice or whatever.

That said, feel free to contact me in-game if you need help with something (even though I'm not on that much at the moment, lots to do at work ..)
