About roegadyn (seawolf) surnames and marriage

So I was thinking, does a female seawolf keep her surname (daughter of [insert name]) through her whole life or does she take after her husband? As in, would she be recognised as the daughter of her father-in-law?

For example: Grynewyda Styrnwyn marries Ahtmhas Cwaensyn. Will she then be Grynewyda Cwaenwyn?

My guess is that their name would not change. If I recall correctly, Earth cultures that use patronyms (names identified with the father) instead of surnames (family names) typically do not change those names when they are married (e.g. in Iceland). Grynewyda Styrnwyn will always been Styrn's daughter so I don't see any reason why marrying another man would change that name. Their children, I imagine, would have the possible names of Ahtmhaswyn and Ahtmhasyn depending on whether it's a boy or girl.

What happens if you don't know who the father is? Where does the child take their name from then?

Perhaps in that case they use a matronymic instead?

Obviously they're named Elilfatyrsyn or Elilfatyrwyn.
