Why don't they change the way we earn Atma? (An honest question, not a rant.)

Shouldn't keeping players happy be the second most important thing behind keeping players subscribing?

Of course I might be wrong, but I can't imagine anyone enjoying farming Atma with the way it currently works, and if they aren't having fun, why would they keep subscribing?

It's a funny thing, the new players leveling up are enjoying it because it brings a level of social play to the world along with lowering the chance of having to solo every fate they come across.

It's also an optional quest for those grinding them out so they still have a choice in the matter.

Because there're more content that just the Atma. We don't know if they're going to nerf it on the incoming patches, I think they have a lot of feedback regarding this subject. If I have you to give my personal opinion, the maps are not as crowded as they used to be on the early days of the atma farm. Now the FATEs take a bit longer to be completed, making the whole process slower.

I'm thinking they won't rework it until 3.0, if ever. As of players unsubbing over something like this, lol.

They aren't the ones farming Atma though, and the ones farming Atma typically go from one fate to the next, only bothering to bronze them and not finish them.

I didn't say they'd unsubscribe over this, I asked why they would subscribe for this. Would you list Atma farming as being one of the reasons as to why you subscribe each month?

Then 3.0 better arrive "Sooner than expect" very soon. :p

If they change atma now, what about all the people that struggled to get it? Dont you think they would cry out then?
I only have 3 but I hope they don't change it, so when I do get them all I have the same sense of accomplishment they had.

I never had a sense of accomplishment, I was just glad it was over.

RNG % starts everyone equally but only through great data samples will your journey be comparably fair. I wish SE would get into the habit of setting upper and lower limits on their well desired contents (growth %, thresholds, tokens, some sort of system).

I loved Atma grinding. I would start by soloing them, and then little by little someone else would join. Made a few new friends off of it as well.
People go to the extreme of "ohhhh gawd!! atma grinding!!! gotta sit here for 8 hours in one area and then complain when one doesn't drop!!! eerrrr"
My advice? Do a few fates in an area, didn't get one? move on to something else and come back later.
Also pretty much all fates can be soloed at that point, and if you have two people they are a breeze. So if and when people slowly stop doing them in bunches, you will be fine.
