Sharing my idea for the crafting system

Hello there fellow players. :)

This will be my first post in this forum and I'll try to make it as clear as possible.

Most of us spend a big chunk of our playtime on crafting/synthesis. As I recall it is also one of the most negatively discussed features for various reasons I need not name here.

Synthesis as it is... is just another minigame in the game. Like Parlay. The bad part is, that you probably wouldn't want to play Parlay all day, because it'll get boring.

My idea is simple: Once you successfully synthesized an item (without hasty hand) your final "score" in Quality and probably Durability (for Touch Ups) will be saved. You can, at any time, do the synth again using your saved "score" and get an appropriate result. Not saying that once you made a +3 it'll always be one. NO! It will still be chance, but the Quality, so chance, will be the same.

Since then you won't have to go through the whole process unless you CHOOSE to better your score.

In the beginning, there should be an option asking if you'd want to acutally "play" synthesis or just make the item as you have millions of times before.

Sure, the idea could use some fine-tuning, but I like it. I would love it in-game!!! :cool:
