Old 1.0 Buddy Passes forgotten in new Recruit-A-Friend system?
It seems that a lot of people should automatically have unlocked their recruit a friend benefits from recruiting someone with their buddy pass years ago (assuming that person still plays). That recruitment doesn't count..? I thought that was the whole point of the buddy passes, to recruit someone else to play the game with you, and that was also significantly harder to do back then too.
I'm not saying recruiting new people to play is a bad thing (it's not, the more the merrier) but I've always been a firm believer in credit where credit is due and it shouldn't matter WHEN the recruitment happened, only that it DID in fact happen and the subs were paid.
People who came later and never got a buddy pass may have no idea of what I'm talking about but what do those who did get it and use it properly think of this? Should the credit still be given for old referrals?
Most will have probably long since passed level 25 across the board and the new mount may be more for vanity than actual use but I'm trying to represent the principle of the matter more than a "we need these boosts too" point (although I regularly play on alts that could use the boost to exp, they don't need it).
