1 Dislike about 1.18 that is just disgusting.. 75MP???

I loved everything about the 1.18 patch but now that i was trying some higher lvl mobs to get some more exp i found something thats just disgusting for an Final Fantasy Game.

The Mp costs from Cure are freaking 75MP!!!!!!!!!!
Now every single MMORPG has at least potions to heal yourself.
FF doesnt which i respected as you just had to lvl conjurer too and you could heal yourself.
But now you guys took out the only thing people have to heal themselves.
Final Fantasy always has been about fighting magic and healing!!
Now we can heal ourselves 3 times and then its FU player.

How are we supposed to solo play? Take down lower lvl mobs so it takes us 15 years to get to lvl 20?

I loved every single bit about 1.18..
But this is just dissapointing..
And the thunder II spells stay at 20 mp like it was.
75mp per cure 2 spell is just not doable.. :(
You wanted us to combine our classes and now you punish us if we are not a conjurer class?
I will have to start agreeing with people as i defended SE all this time.
I hope you will change this soon.

FFXIV does have pots it also has ether's.

That's the only problem I have with 1.18 too. I like that they cost more, but I'm thinking it should be more like 100 for Cure III and go down from there. Everything else is amazing! Strategized gameplay ftw~

Yea i tried attacking a lvl 45 with my lvl 33 archer which should be kind of easy but i wanted to test it out with the autoattack which went smooth till i wanted to use cureII for the 4th time and it couldnt be used anymore..
I was like WTF how is my MP empty did i not recover myself just now...
Then i saw that Cure needs 75 mp...
was like well screw this.. No point in attacking mobs from my own lv as they give like 50sp ...
And doing a max of 6 quests that repeat themselves every 72 hours is boring lol..
But mp75 takes awa the grinding part for someone soloing and not having a mage..
:( If they don't change that then i don't know how to get along to fight something high..
As example... The NM's.. No way you will beat a ?? monster on your own without cure.
And eather recovers like 50 Mp or something?

Well, hopefully the next patch will rebalance the MP cost. They are way to heavy assuming they not even heal in area anymore. IMO curaga is correct in being expensive...but not cure/sac.

The only counter comment I would make is in fighting mobs your own level. If you recall in XI if you fought a mob that con'd Even Match, you probably weren't going to win the battle without some good strategy. To solo most of the time you had to battle mobs a few lvls lower than you

Not really.. It's a very hard fight but with healing it was do able..
Fighting lvl 33 mobs would make you need a week to get 1 lvl up...

Tell you what, maybe you should try playing the game with one hand tied behind your back while juggling a live grenade in the other hand. What's that? It's a stupid idea? Well, so are the MP costs.

I don't mind them being increased, I just don't like being made redundant in a single patch. I'm no longer viable as a healer unless im stacked with ethers or working alongside another healer! The MP increase was necessary, just a bit too extreme and should've been changed across ALL spells, not just heals!
