Returning player looking for advice.

Ok i play as a Sch, i havent played since the first month of the re release where i was just grinding for tokens and working on clearing the raid.

Can someone please fill me in on whats new/changed, how i should progress from where i am, stats i need to focus/caps to hit etc.

Mythology is now uncapped and turns 1-5 of Coil are also infinitely farmable - thus you can get all your BiS i90 stuff easily. The current cappable currency is called Soldiery. This is i100 in its base-form, but upgradable to i110 by stuff called Sands of Time for your armor pieces and Oil of Time for the accessories. For now, most of the BiS gear for the SCH is the Soldiery vendor-gear, similiar to the status quo of 2.0 and 2.1 with the Mythology gear.

My suggestion would be as follows: try to meet some people again who're willing to run with you, so you can easily get to i90 fast at least. (As many people discriminate based on ilvl and you're lagging behind quite a bit). Cap soldiery weekly, work on what you want to buy with it, then little by little get a soldiery piece in addition to your i90 stuff. Also, get a ST (Syrcus Tower - the sequel of Crystal Tower) item weekly, as those items are i100 as well (though not upgradable to i110).

As for how you can obtain the upgrade materials for the Soldiery gear: either raid the SCoB (Second Coil of Bahamut, ie. Turns 6-9) weekly and win guaranteed Sands/Oils (Oils dropping in T7 + T9, Sands dropping in T8 + T9) or partake in a QQ-inducing new update that sucks tons, but with which you can get said materials pretty easily - ie. The Hunts. (This got implemented in 2.3, a bit over a week ago).

There's a lot of new dungeons, primals and stuff in general you can do, but getting to i90 would be the base. Crit-meta is still by far the most popular and efficient for the SCH. Hope that helps for a general outline - if you have any gameplay-related questions, do ask.
