Make it so changing GC's doesn't reset your PvP Rank

Does FC GC Affiliation count for us to Frontline with us our friends?

Lots of rumors about how GC affiliation will affect your ability (or inability) to play with friends who're a part of a different GC come Frontlines.

If we're unable, that'll just be ludicrous, won't it?

But regardless, I don't think switching GC's should reset your Rank whatsoever, it's just unnecessarily inhibiting.

Additionally, please save our PVP Trait Loadouts on a "Class Basis".

In other words, don't make us reallocate every time we want to change classes in PVP... simply have it save the Trait's we set like how it saves Stat Allocations

Point is: is it really worth it to prevent us from Frontlining with our friends just for the sake of immersion?

If your argument is with lore & sensibility, the affiliation could be about GC bragging rights & pride -- a competition between GC's with Frontlines acting as war games.

The fee to switch & the inability to use Seals locked behind other GC's is bad enough I think.

In any case, SE please confirm whether or not I'll be able to Frontline with my friends who are in different GC's?

So you have to be in the same GC.

Hmm... well they should change that. Just because I like Pirates & some of my irl friends don't doesn't mean we shouldn't be allowed to Frontline together.

Perhaps have the affiliation go off of whoever the Party Leader is whom queued for Frontline.

You might not like this, but everything Company related... is related to the specific Company you did it for. As such you rank, Company or PvP, is going to be reset in a new Company because that Company isn't your old one. There is no precedent I know of where this is not the case in any other game that I've played, XI included (where it was the Nation storyline that you were joining).

I always imagined frontlines would be based on your FC's allegiance to a city state that way you could play with friends.

Please just separate PVP rank from GC. That way people wouldn't mind if they have to switch GC to do Frontline. It's just stupid that we have to go through so much craps to get all of your friends to play on the same team with you.

Not really reset.
I currently hold current max rank in all three GC's.
When I switched from flames to yellowcoats, my flames rank stayed intact, but since I was now a yellowcoat and not a flame, of course I had to start from lowest rank.
Reset implies that your progress in one company is wiped out when you move to a new.

True, it's not a complete reset. Just like XI, if you switch back to your old Company you are back to your old rank.
