Raging Strikes/Bane Question.

I have 2 technical questions regarding my Summoner and Raging Strikes.

The first question is more of a clarification. Now I know that damage inflicted for every tick of a DoT is predetermined, and will not change until the DoT has expired or refreshed.

Now my question, is the damage determined as soon as the enemy receives the DoT, or as soon as I begin casting? For example, I have the Raging Strikes buff for a remainder of 1.5 seconds, and I begin casting Miasma/Bio II. Will the DoT still have the damage buff, or will it be normal since Raging Strikes wore off before I actually hit the enemy.

The second question has to do with Bane. Say I hit an enemy with Raging Strikes enhanced DoTs, and have Garuda hit them with Contagion. Now Raging Strikes has worn off, and I use Bane to transfer them to an add that wasn't there before. (This usually happens to me when I mess up my timing during Levi EX for the Sahagins/Spumes) Will Bane transfer the enhanced damage DoTs even though Raging Strikes is not active anymore, or will they be normal damage?

1) Damage is determined when the DoT effect lands on an enemy.

2) Bane'd DoTs should inherit the buffs and duration from the original target.
