Do you need to cancel a subscription after your free month on PS4?

My free month will be running out soon , will it start charging from my credit card assigned to my PSN automatically? or would I have to enter those details through my square enix account?

Basically I want to make sure I don't get charged as I don't think I will carry on playing.

Subscription is completely separate from your PSN account, it's all done on SE side ^^. You can check on the mogstation if you've set up an automatic renewal
