What is Heaven's Gate?
Heaven's Gate is a trade ship/merchant and delivery themed RP free company on the Balmung server. We welcome every type of player: hardcore, casual, roleplayers, raiders, crafters, gatherer, newbs and veterans alike (so long as they meet the 18+ age requirement).

As a group we strive to offer a laid back, social environment where people can do what makes them happy; where roleplay ideas are encouraged to bloom into epic story-lines and a few hours some nights can be spent successfully destroying bosses in raids for good times and great loot. Perhaps you enjoy sitting at lakes fishing or spending hours making HQ items for the markets, that's cool too. Players that enjoy all aspects of the game are welcomed equally.


Our focus on RP explores the players’ interpretations of their characters and the development of storylines and plot as we explore the lore rich world SqEnix has given us in FFXIV through scheduled events, random roleplay and company story arcs.

A two-fold theme.
Heaven's Gate runs along two lines of business.
The ship is a newly built, large brig captained by Mialyre Vance.
Most will know the ship to be a respectable trade and delivery service run by reputable crew. She's a vessel for hire, running trade routes and delivery of goods for merchants throughout Eorzea. We take on contracts from various companies and individuals and make deliveries as needed. At any given time the ship is full of merchants, crewmen, couriers, and more. The captain and her crew have a reputation for getting the job done no matter the difficulty, so long as the coin is good and the cargo is clean...mostly.
Along with a thriving trade business, the name Heaven's Gate may at times and in the right circles be associated to one "Lady Grace", a well known Madame from Limsa Lominsa and current long time traveler with the crew. Her house's brand, marked by three skewed diamonds is etched into the side of the ship and worn by many (but certainly not all!) of the crew by way of tattoo or jewelry.
Not every prostitution ring can stake claims to legality(only so many writs of trade are drawn up every year for the operation of brothels within the city-states), but as one of the city's premiere houses, Lady Grace's companions can boast both quality of goods and services and legality of operation.
