LS Ships and LS Life on the Sea please

Hi,

I think FFXIV is epic enough where we could have a class who speciallizes 100% in working the seas. Weather it's fighting other sea people or pirating. I think Linkshells should be able to buy a Ship, and take that ship out on the open seas for what ever reason. Trade routes, or w.e.. travel even. How cool would it be to live a life of piracy out on the open seas with your LS!

And with that, you would need a pirate / sailor class.. naturally. Def.

Also, make players get hungry, and if you don't eat for like EVER you lose HP. That would add some realism, and make cooks actually usefull.

How cool would it be if your on the open sea, and your LS mates are starving, and you have to raid another ship to get their food supplies... SO EPIC

I love the pirating idea but I don't see it happening. I do like your "characters need to eat" idea ... except implement some kind of fatigue that effects battle performance ... not experience gain though, I'll never wish that upon us again >< But thing is, it would suck that if you go so long without food you end up dying. While that is realistic, what if you can't get to food in time and get sent back to a far off aetheryte and have no anima to use? You'll continuously die over and over. I think reducing stats over time for not eating would definitely be better, and would make cooks VERY important.

I think Marauder can count as the pirate/sailor class :P and i would love to have a ship.

Navigation on the open sea and discovering lost islands, would be the thing i'd wait more. I'd GREATLY love it.
