Scholar fan site

Question number 1) Is there one? (Like theincbear.com for Warcraft druids)

Question number 2) If there isn't one, would people actually go if one was made?

Basically, I leveled a paladin first off, then LOVED playing dragoon (Dat DPS!), and since I firmly believe in having 1 of each piece of the trinity, I rolled a scholar.

Woah. what a fun class!

Basically, there would be a theorycraft section (like every MMO spec has on their fan site) for BiS, rotations, HPS, EoS Vs Selene etc

A news and announcements section for all changes in FFXIV and to the scholar in particular

Just seems so odd there's nothing to be found for fansite forums for any specific class. Whatcha think?

As far as i know there isnt any real SCH theorycrafting going on anywhere. I also learned 2 things: dont try to do it on this Forum or reddit.

Sooo i really would Like to see and support a extra theory crafting board.

I don't know that Druid page you posted, but a place for Scholar theorycrafting would be nice. I've been working on Det/Mind/WD healing formulas with what the forums and other TC sites offer but can't seem to get accurate numbers out of them. (The formulas tell me my Phys/Cure should do around 730-800 heal depending on which approach I use, my ingame heals with exactly the same stats are 1k+...)

You'll find plenty of people theorycrafting on these forums already.

Sadly there isn't a compendium (that I know of) to browse all of the suggestions and topics.

The disappointing thing about theorycrafting in FFXIV is that; limited gear, limited stat allocation, limited party compositions.

yea, I know. Limited everything, pretty much, means limited scholar forum ability. Hopefully it expands quickly though.

Wondering if I should just change to an Arcanist site then to invite summoners and hopefully more traffic? Thoughts?

If you're genuinely interested in creating a site dedicated to ACN/SCH/SMN, all the power to you!
