Please make equipment sets remember if we had our headgear showing or not.

Pretty sure it would make a lot of people happy.

They have already said no to this, considering turning the graphic on or off is one simple button click that is on the same window you have open to change classes/jobs.

This would be sooo nice to have on certain gear sets.... On top of that for the weapons.

There used to be these kind of commands in FFXI to remove the head, never tried it in FFXIV.

You can make a macro for this although you have to use the set number I believe and not the name. Last I checked you could not use the Job/class icon for the macro though.

found it! yup u can do that with macros

/display head on
/gs change # (replace #with the number of the gear set you want to equip)

We do have glamours now too. If you have a head piece you don't like or just like having your face visible you could always glamour something inconspicuous like a circlet which tends to get covered up by most haircuts anyway.

That's still jumping through hoops to do something in an awkward way, and also causes entirely different inconveniences.
