<Avere's Head> 40 PvP twinking/PvP in general

Greetings and Salutations,

I never get to use the world salutations, so I decided to use salutations as a way to say hi so that I can say salutations more.

That being said, <Avere's Head> is currently recruiting people for PvP. Most people in the game right now have a pretty skewed view of PvP in my opinion. It's either:

A: Highly unbalanced

B: You had to do it from the beginning because r30 people ruin everything.

I find neither of these things to be entirely true. The matchmaking system causes most of the problems as it creates teams regardless of there individual ranks, or win/loss ratios. This causes an unfriendly environment for new people. Level 40 twinking is a wonderful way to get around this.

Level sync causes any gear above level 40 req to equip, to be worse than level 40 gear. This causes a few wonderful advantages for the newcomer to PvP.

1. You can buy yourself a full set of crafted level 40 gear, and materia the crap out of it. Effectively putting you at the high end of gear stats, and either giving you an advantage or leveling out the playing field without a huge investment in time. (Level II materia is cheap, yo.)

2. If you have leves, you can get gear better than the crafted and reach whole new levels of pubstomping if that's your thing.

We at <Avere's Head> want to start building a PvP community in preparation for the future PvP content coming to FFXIV. We will help you gear up, and hopefully help you have a fun time with the game.
