Levequests: Chocobo companion keeps attacking pacified targets

Frequency: Always
World name: Hyperion
Character name: Anubis Kuro
NPC name: Chocobo

Class/Level: LVL 34 Archer
Party or solo: Party with Chocobo Companion
In-game time: 6AM PST
Area and coordinates: All levequests related to pacifying

Steps:
1. Summon your Chocobo companion
2. Accept a Levequest (any related to the pacification of targets)
3. DPS down the corresponding mob
4. Pacify with /soothe or Key Item (it's the same)
5. The target becomes pacified
6. Chocobo still holds aggro related to target and keeps hitting him while pacified, reducing it's health.

The only way to fix this is to give the Chocobo the "Follow" command, so the attack target is removed from the NPC. When you engage once again with another "pacifiable" NPC the bug reproduces again.

I've already tested this with different level levequests, both requiring the /soothe emote or key items. The fact the the Chocobo is summoned prior to accepting the Levequest or not is irrelevant.

Agreed, choccobo should show the same behaviour as when the player sleeps an enemy..stay away from that enemy. I had more than one leve failed because of my choccobo being agressive where there is no need for lol.

Arcanist pets behave the same way.

We understand it’s not desirable when your companion starts to attack pacified monsters that you soothed. We let the development team know your feedback, and while I can’t promise a time period for implementation right now, they will be looking into making adjustments in a future patch.
