Any point in returning?

So, is this game still centered around FATE zerg fests? Has any other method been implemented to level?

Fates are terrible, everyone doing dungeons and leves now.

Servers are laggy enough, no more people please.

Don't lie to the poor lady. FATEs are central to certain content including Holiday Events, unlocking Labyrinth of the Ancients and some Beastmen Daillies. FATEs also scale properly based on participation from the last spawn which means if it was solo, you could go in solo and get a lot of quick exp.

Dungeon and leve exp was boosted, yes - but FATEs still have the potential to be the faster source of exp given the speed and number of them at a time in some areas. If you feel like staying in dungeons, you'll get decent exp and with the new duty roulette you an get a large 1 time bonus a day which is nice, but FATEs are still central to this game's progression as much as we'd want to get past it.

Considering the OP likely took an extended break, they'll have 100 allowances to go through at the very least.

The latest patch introduced a votekick so if you want to come back you should practice being nicer.
