Coil Static Seeking More for Turn 5 Progression
Hey everyone!
A few friends and I recently re-formed our Coil static and are looking to recruit the following:
- Scholar
- Summoner *or* Warrior (this spot is flexible, as some individuals in our group are well-geared on multiple jobs)
Schedule:
Raid schedule is 8-11 EST, 2 days per week; the specific days are typically decided between Wednesday and Friday of the week prior, although we may pursue a more consistent schedule in the near future. In general, we tend to be pretty flexible at re-scheduling for important real life commitments.
About Us:
We're a group of friends that came from a very small free company where we raided Coil for about two hours a week, over the course of roughly 7 weeks. In that time, we progressed through and killed Turn 4 three times, but never managed to get any progression time on Turn 5 - our old free company lacked both the motivation and the means to do so. We've recently joined up with a new free company, and need just one more individual to fill our coil group. Note that joining our free company is not required to run Coil with us. We are, however, looking for someone that wants to become a permanent member of our raid group.
A few of us are real life friends and have known one another for almost a decade. We all have a long background in MMOs, including world-first boss kills, gladiator arena teams, and experience leading server-first raid groups (all in WoW.) Sadly, the days of being able to commit the time necessary for such things are behind us due to real life commitments; that said, we like to play at a very high level, and would want anyone looking to join our group to do the same. This doesn't mean we don't make mistakes (everyone does occasionally), and it certainly doesn't mean we're super-serious hardcore. We're actually very laid-back and friendly! We just find the most enjoyment in tackling the toughest content. :]
What We're Looking For
Large amounts of Coil experience are not required. What we're looking for is a quick learner, someone who has a solid grasp of their chosen job and who possesses the ability to not-stand-in-the-fire 90-95% of the time. A decent iLvl is also desired simply due to the nature of Turn 5.
