Bard or stay archer

Is it better to go bard or stay pure Archer?

Bard.

Its always better to go with your job instead of staying with your class.

The stat re-allocation and the new skills make it very much worthwhile.

Not always. Just always when doing your current level dungeons.

If you are doing a Dungeon with a lower level than Brayflox's(32) . you generally want the base class. Since the extra cross-class skills can make up for the minor stat increase that you been synced down to with a Job. From what I read some classes, namely Monk you don't want to bother equipping the Job Stone unless your level will be at least 35.

Also doing doing some of the solo content, Depending on your available cross-skills going with the base class can be better.

Basically you have to way the stats increase and job skills versus cross-class skills. Depends on what cross-class skills you have available and the level of the content your doing.
But level 35+ and in a party, always have your job equipped.

You will want to bard.
