Square, for the love of god, FIX THE RENDERING ON PS3. I do not care if I never see another player in the field for the rest of my days playing this, You made FATE grinding the only reliable way to level past your first job to 50, and then you made it so that nothing will render if there are too many players, which happens in every popular fate zone(popular because of ease of travel, fate spawn timers, and well, there are all of two choices for any given bracket past 30)

There was a server wide screenshot on Balmung a few nights ago, and for those of us on ps3, that meant all 30 of us. Jokes aside, I saw a pic taken from a PC and it was incredible how many people were actually there that I couldn't see.
OP, I know this is the opposite of what you're talking about, but it's a rendering issue nonetheless. Blah blah blah ps3 limitations, bring on the ps4 version!

Obviously if you cannot see the FATE monsters, then FATE grinding isn't the best way for you to farm. This was SE's plan all along to distribute players to other leveling areas. PS3 users stick to dungeons, PC master race, I mean, PC level with FATEs.
I'm picking up a PS4 in approximately 26 and one half hours, give or take there being a line. the ps4 beta doesn't start until February.
And I don't have the space for a gaming PC desktop, so I'm stuck with a laptop(not the one I'm posting from, ancient(black plastic) macbook.) and the one that I had my eye on sold out two days before I had the cash for it(acer, good graphics card, good processor, and I can swap all the other parts out with ease so who cares about them, it should come back on the market in about 2 months with a slightly better build and the same relative price.)
If I had the space for it, I would simply build my own, especially since I could spread the cost out over a while instead of all upfront.
A PS4 for what when the game doesn't start in Feb for PS4, derp.
If PC people have problems with FATE's loading...who's ta say PS4 WON'T BE DA SAME!
Fates are not right and I don't think its all on the PS3. Yes some of it is but weird stuff still happens.
I see behemoth/odin 100% of the time if I am dead but if I am alive its 50/50. Summoner pets always load first. Its not uncommon for me to see 10 ifrit/garudas around me and only a few actual players.
yea i am on PS3 and have the same issues. It also takes away from the immersion of the game.....
While I have done the changes (which do appear to help) I do not think i should have too to enjoy the game as it should be.
Finally i am sure there was some post where SE said they were going to change the priorities of what show ups first. I can not remember if this was for all time or only certain FATES/events etc
